Beginning in the early 1990's Nor-Cal Merchant Services, parent company of Advanced Shred!, began assisting businesses of all types with the acceptance of non-cash payments; credit cards, debit cards and checks.  These experiences highlighted the importance of reliable and professional service.  It also highlighted the need of business managers and owners to manage their Privacy Risk.      Privacy Risk includes managing and securing the confidential data of Customers, Employees, Vendors, Investors, etc.   Many business catagories are required by law to adopt Business Record storage and destruction policies.   Some of these regulations include the Federal FACTA and HIPAA laws and the California Business Code.    Advanced Shred! services are designed to assist you with your Regualtory Compliance obligations and help manage Privacy Risk.

2005  - introduction of first truly eco-friendly Mobile Pulverization system to Northern California.  An advanced "clean" diesel & no toxic hydraulic fluid.  This truck was un-matched in our market. 2006 - launch of more secure PLANT based Document & Data Pulverization services, in conjuction with original MOBILE service.   2008 - terminate less secure MOBILE services to focus on more secure & convenient PLANT based destruction. 2010 - begin Destruction PLANT services in Richmond, Ca. utilizing a large industrial grinding system located in a secure building.
